PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
May be fatal if swallowed. May be fatal if absorbed through skin. Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Causes skin irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear appropriate diving gear and wet suits when applying BARNACLE STOP® underwater.Gloves should be worn that are latex or otherwise chemical resistant. When applied out of water, applicators should wear protective eye wear, latex gloves or otherwise chemical resistant, long sleeve shirt, long pants, socks and shoes. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or other waters unless in accordance with the requirement of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into sewer systems without previously notifying treatment plant authority.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS
Barnacle Stop® is a combustible solid. Do not store or use near heat or open flame.

Applicators should wear appropriate diving gear and wet suits when applying Barnacle Stop® underwater. Gloves should be worn that are latex or otherwise chemical resistant. When applied out of water, applicators should wear protective eye wear, latex gloves or otherwise chemical resistant , long sleeve shirt, long pants, socks and shoes.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons.
Barnacle Stop® is applied directly to boat hulls, propel- lers and other boat running gear either in or out of the water. It may also be applied to other underwater structures such as water intake grates. Barnacle Stop® should not be applied to fine metal underwater screens. Barnacle Stop® does not kill existing organisms. Barnacle Stop® prevents marine, invertebrate organisms from attaching and growing on underwater surfaces. It does not prevent algae growth.
PROCEDURE
Before beginning , ensure that boat engines are turned off and water intake pumps are turned off and disabled. Failure to do so may result in death and/or injury to applicator.
Remove all existing barnacles and other marine organ- isms from surfaces to be treated by scraping and cleaning the intended surface with appropriate tools. Remember that Barnacle Stop® does not kill any existing organisms. After scraping a surface to be cleaned, scrub it with a scouring pad to remove algae and microscopic larvae organisms. Remove the lid of the plastic tub and place Barnacle Stop® in a double boiler or slow cooker.
Barnacle Stop® melts at about 135 degrees F. Warm the surface to be treated with a heat gun. Do not heat more than can be tolerated with a bare hand. Apply a coat of melted Barnacle Stop® with a brush. Let harden and apply a second coat. Smooth with a latex or chemical resistant gloved hand. Areas not coated will not be protected.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal. Excess product may be disposed of as a non- hazardous waste. Empty containers should be recycled.
PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a secure place away from fire and an open flame. Barnacle Stop® is not damaged by freezing, but should be stored in an area where the temperature does not exceed 100 degrees F (38 degrees C).
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product must be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
CONTAINER HANDLING: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill container.. Clean container promptly after emptying. Then offer for recycling if available or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by incineration.
WARRANTY STATEMENT
Barnacle-Blocker, LLC warrants that this product con- forms to the chemical description on the label thereof and is reasonably fit for the purposes stated on such label only when used in accordance with the directions under normal use circumstances. It is impossible to eliminate all risks associated with the use of this product. In no case shall Barnacle-Blocker, LLC be liable for consequential, special or indirect damages resulting from the use or handling of the product. All such risks shall be assumed by the Buyer. The exclusive remedy of any Buyer or user of this product for any and all losses, injuries or damages resulting from or in way arising from the use, handling or application of this product whether in contract, warranty, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise shall not exceed the purchase price paid for this product or at Barnacle-Blocker, LLC’s option the replacement of the product.
